If You Consider That You Cannot Afford Medical Insurance Then You Are In For A Pleasant Surprise.
Amazingly, one out of five adult Americans feel that they are unable to afford adequate health care according to the latest statistics released by the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia. So, are you one of the 40 million people who are not able to sleep comfortably in their beds at night for fear of not being able to cope with the cost of medical treatment should you have an accident or illness? More to the point, do you have to be one of the 40 million?
The report of the CDC which was published in 2007 and explored health care in the United States looked in depth at a number of aspects of health care and found amongst other things that:
1. 10% of people cannot presently pay the cost of prescription medicines.
2. 10% of people delay having medical treatment as a result of the price.
3. As many as nearly one in three young people between the ages of 18 and 24 do not have a usual source of medical treatment or health care insurance.
